Jason B. Thrower is a founding partner of Palmintier, Thrower, and Treuting Injury Attorneys in Baton Rouge, where he focuses his practice on serious personal injury and select criminal defense cases. Before becoming an attorney, Jason built a diverse career in business, working in executive leadership, insurance underwriting, and investment banking. Those experiences shaped his practical, client-focused approach to legal advocacy.
After earning his law degree from Southern University Law Center in 2006, Jason completed a two-year clerkship with the Honorable Janice G. Clark of the 19th Judicial District Court. He later practiced at a New Orleans-area firm representing major insurers and corporations, sharpening his trial skills and gaining insight into how large organizations operate. Motivated to provide more personal and dedicated service to clients, he founded The Thrower Law Firm, where he represented individuals, businesses, and governmental entities in both civil and criminal matters for over 15 years.
In addition to his law practice, Jason serves as an assistant professor of law at Southern University Law Center, where he has taught a range of courses since 2007, including Constitutional Law, Civil Procedure and Trial Advocacy.
A native of Mobile, Alabama, Jason is a devoted husband and father of two daughters. He is active in his community, serving on the Board of Trustees at Love Alive Church in Baton Rouge and as a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
